My work begins with collection.

When I look at discarded items, I think, 'I'm sure I could make something out of this'. And, at some point, the collected things
become art materials.

After graduating from college, I returned to my hometown and was stranded due to the corona pandemic. At that time, I often
witnessed masks thrown away on the roadside. Some people think of it as garbage, but if you look at it with deep interest,
garbage may not exist in this world.

I collected the masks I used. And I started to record my daily life on the mask. The color was applied on the mask. A variety of
emotions from unexpected unfamiliar experiences melted into it.

Viruses are still all around us. Nowadays, masks are comfortably used for the purpose of covering the face regardless of hygiene.
Since a long time ago, we have used various masks for various purposes. Depending on the situation, I change my appearance
with a mask. That change led to dance.

We live our lives wearing various personas.
