텅 빈 디지털 캔버스에 인간 형상의 작고 가느다란 선이 쏟아진다. 그 선은 곧 줄줄이 이어져 쌓이면서 빌딩

이 되고, 빌딩들은 곧 줄줄이 쌓여 도시 풍경을 만들어 내며, 완전 포화 상태에 도달할 때 까지 성장하는 이

과정에서 우리는 끝이 없는 무한 반복의 굴레를 벗어날 수 없다는 것을 안다. 끊임없이 자라나는 빌딩을 위

한 출퇴근의 만트라를 울려퍼지게 하는 화엄사의 종을 따라, 무언가 서투르고 불완전한 흔적의 선들은 움직

이면서, 계획적이고 치밀하게 관리되는 환경 속에서의 인간적인 감각을 어떻게든 표현해내보려 한다. 하지

만 유기체의 이러한 반란은 늘 그렇듯이 끊임없는 진보의 힘에 포용되고 질식하며 통합된다.

Neat strait lines of tiny, human-like, figures pour on to an empty digital canvas. The rows stack

up, forming buildings. The buildings stack up and a cityscape grows until reaching a point of

total saturation, only for the process to repeat in a seemingly never-ending loop. Following

the mantric singing of a temple bell, the clumsy, imperfect trace of the hand-drawn lines try to

impose a sense of humanity on a sterile, planned and micro-managed setting. This revolt of the

organic is, as tends to be the case, embraced, suffocated and incorporated to the relentless force

of progress.
